- 2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 Cup cocoa powder
- 1 Tsp baking soda
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1 Cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 2 Pcs large eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
- 1 Cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies
Instructions
- firstly Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a wide sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl.
- In a separate large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy.
- then Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Dissolve instant coffee granules in 1 tablespoon hot water. Add coffee mixture to wet ingredients and then mix well.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and do not overmix.
- Add chocolate chips and crushed chocolate cookies.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them bout 2 inches apart.
- Bake till the edges are set. The centers may still be a little soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
