Vazhuthandu ko bahar ki kadi pattiyan hatakar andar tak saaf kar lein. Fir use patle tukdon mein kaat lein aur usse thande paani mein thodi der ke liye bhigo dein, taki woh kale rang na le.
Kadhai mein tel garam karein aur usmein sarson ke beej daalein. Jab beej phatphate maarein, toh urad dal, chana dal, sukhi lal mirch aur hing daal dein. Thoda bhunein, jab tak dalon ka rang halka brown ho jaye.
Bhige huye Vazhuthandu ko paani se nikal kar kadhai mein daalein aur kuch der tak pakayein, jab tak woh naram na ho jaye.
Haldi powder, sambar powder aur namak daalein. Achhe se milayein.
Aanch ko dheemi kar dein, kadhai ko dhak kar lagbhag 5-7 minute tak pakayein, jab tak sabzi ka swad acchi tarah se ghul jaye.
